Yummy homemade frosting your family will love!

4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk
2 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1. Melt the butter in a saucepan
2. Blend in the brown sugar and salt
3. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly for 2 minutes
4. Stir in the milk
5. Continue to stir until mixture comes to a boil
6. Remove from heat
7. Gradually blend in the confectioners sugar
8. Add the vanilla

Note: Thin the frosting with a small amount of canned milk if necessary
