Product review for Melissa and Doug - Primary Lacing Beads

In the Melissa and Doug's Primary Lacing Beads we tested we encountered one big problem. First let us review the positives of this product. For one the beads are much larger than I had expected.

The box of beads I purchased contained 6 vibrant colors (unlike what is shown in the picture to the right). The colors include green, yellow, purple, red, orange and blue.

The concept with these large beads is simple. The beads are large and easy for little hands to manipulate and thread. The problem once again is quality control. The problem we encountered was the difficulty in threading due to the drilled holes not being smoothed. This caused Caleb and Egan great frustration when trying to thread the beads. The shoe laces included would constantly get caught on the rough surface making the threading extremely difficult and requiring adult strength to pull the beads through. Hopefully this was just a rare mistake in production because it is an ideal therapy product and could be great for fine motor/ hand-eye coordination.
