Imagination Station : Splatter Ball Painting
Published on Wed Jun 2, 2004 5:39 pm

Warning: Very messy but extremely fun!

You will need:

A piece of paper
A tennis ball – old ones work best
Washable Poster paints (or wear old clothing)

What to do:

Put some paint in a container that is wide enough so you can dip the tennis ball in the paint.

Dip the tennis ball in the paint and roll it over the paper. Dip the ball again and make dots on the paper with the tennis ball. Dip the ball again and toss the ball gently on the paper. Now try throwing the ball hard on the paper (causing paint to splatter). Use a different color each time and notice how the colors mix changing their appearance.

Note: This is a messy project so either well paper your project area or do it outside.
