Published on Sat May 29, 2004 5:00 am

A lovely Sunday roast.

2 teaspoon rubbed sage
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 clove garlic, crushed
1 (2 pound) boneless pork loin

Sauce Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
4 tablespoons soy sauce

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

In a roasting pan place pork loin, salt and pepper pork loin. Rub sage onto roast. Distribute Garlic evenly over roast.

Place pork in an uncovered roasting pan on the middle oven rack.

Bake in the preheated oven approximately 1.5-2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches at least 150 degrees.

Place sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, water, and soy sauce in a saucepan. Place on medium heat stirring constantly until mixture begins to bubble and thicken slightly.

Baste roast with glaze 3 or 4 times during the last 1/2 hour of cooking. Pour remaining glaze over roast, and serve.
